Cyclists in Newquay riding alongside the harbour

Join Kate's Climate Cycle through Cornwall, Plymouth, Bournemouth and Brighton

Beryl is excited to be supporting Climate Cycle, Kate Strong’s 3,000 mile climate cycle around Britain.

In August, Kate Strong - world champion triathlete and climate activist - will be travelling through South West England as part of the last leg of her cycle for the planet challenge.

On her 3-month adventure, Kate has visited sustainable projects around the country aiming to inspire the nation into action around climate change. She has been talking with people, communities, organisations, charities and councils about what they’re doing to mitigate climate change.

Earlier in the year, Beryl, powered by National Grid and Norfolk County Council welcomed Kate into Norwich for the start of her Climate Cycle with a series of activities and now we are getting ready to support the final part of the journey.

How can I help?

We’re delighted that Kate is making stops at some of our favourite Beryl bays in Cornwall, Plymouth, Bournemouth and Brighton as a chance for you to say hello and be a part of the final chapter of this inspiring project.

There will be 6 different group rides taking place over August, all rides will be suitable for all abilities and there will be opportunities to ride with Beryl for free!

Don’t miss your chance to ride with a world record holder and be a part of something incredible. No need to sign up, just come along on two wheels. All bikes welcome and rides are suitable for all abilities.

Plus there will be Beryl bikes available* to ride for free for each event as a thank you gift for taking part and supporting this project.
